Louise Bishop Dennington, 103, of Dermott, AR died Wednesday, December 28, 2016.
Louise was born on September 22, 1913 to the late Charles J. and Nora Neal Bishop. She was a lifelong resident of Dermott, AR. She was a substitute teacher for Dermott Schools for many years and wrote personal columns for the Dermott News. Louise was a member of Dermott United Methodist and she loved to sew, crochet and knit.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Marvin Dennington; siblings, Charles, Robert, Bill, Mary Nell, Paul, Mildred, Martha, Evelyn and James; step-grandson, Anthony Wade Tabor; grandson-in-law Gary Michael Anderson.
Survivors include her son, Cecil H. Dennington, Sr. and his wife Kathryn of Collins, AR; daughters, Christine Lincoln of Dermott, AR and Irene Wooten and her husband Richard of Marvell, AR;
Grandchildren, Andrea Lincoln Anderson, Alice Louise Wooten Hallman and Cecil Herbert Dennington, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Hailee Ann Hallman and Ella Kathryn Dennington; step-grandchildren, Carla Kirk, Lana Neumeir and Stephanie Coke.
Visitation will be 1-2pm Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Dermott United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 2pm at the church with Rev. Andy Connard officiating. Burial will follow at Dermott Cemetery.
